LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – A La Crosse man is in jail after making an attempt to cover from police in a crawl area at his house.
Police have been on the lookout for Brett Ok. Reismann, 23, at his house on fifth Avenue South. Reismann had an energetic felony probation and parole warrant.
Authorities have been tipped off that Reismann tends to cover in a crawl area beneath the floorboards of the house.
In response to a prison grievance, police have been let in to the house by the suspect’s roommate, who denied the suspect was house.
Upon getting into the house, authorities noticed a shotgun on the kitchen desk. The roommate then informed police that Reismann was hiding beneath the ground and gave police consent to go looking the residence.
The officer gave a number of verbal instructions for the suspect to exit the crawl area together with his arms up, however Reismann didn’t comply. The crawl area was three toes tall and ran your complete size of the house.
